Kigelia Adventure Lodge is a piece of paradise south of Shakawe at the so-called “Panhandle” of the Okavango Delta. This property is a real jewel in the portfolio of Southern Cross Adventure Lodges. Situated close to the Okavango River where the river is wide and fringed with reeds, it offers a bit more luxury, such as electricity and Wi-Fi, for a relaxing holiday. The wooden deck of the main public area has stunning views onto the water and a series of Papyrus islands and is shaded by a huge Sausage Tree - Kigelia Africana - which is why the lodge is named Kigelia.
